Ragesh started his career in an International Bank. After completing his professional banking exams, he joined a local and successful firm of Chartered Accountants in Harrow, Middlesex, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Ragesh then worked with several firms of Chartered Accountants in a managerial capacity before setting up Dewanis in 1996. Ragesh is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Ragesh comes from a business-oriented family background – most of his close family either own their own businesses or are engaged at senior board levels in running successful businesses. As an ex-banker and having worked with successful firms of Chartered Accountants, Ragesh has gained a wealth of experience in advising SME clients and their owners across a whole range of business requirements – compliance, planning & advisory.
The strength of the firm comes from Ragesh’s ability to forge close professional relationships with his clients. Whilst the firm has grown in its size over the years and Ragesh is supported by his assistants and managers to deal with client work, he still maintains a one-to-one and close relationship with all his clients.
Ragesh has a keen interest in IT and he is committed to developing the best IT solutions for the firm and its clients to ensure that the firm remains at the cutting edge of technology.
Ragesh is a member of various relevant faculties of the Institute of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales (ICAEW), which helps him to keep on top of developments in various areas to assist with his client work.
Ragesh is married with two lovely daughters. When he is not working, Ragesh enjoys spending time with his family & friends, dining at his favourite restaurants and going to the cinema & the theatre. He is an avid hiker (sometimes taking on challenges which he later regrets getting into!), practices daily meditation and is an amateur golfer at weekends!
